What you need
How to make it, step by step
1Print the template
Print your chocolate biscuit sticks sheet at 100% scale on plain printer paper, making sure to turn off the fit to page setting. Check that the scale bar measures 2 inches (50 mm on A4) so your finished box reaches about 1.6 by 3.6 inches (4.0 by 9.2 cm). If you picked the coloring page, color the red box, chocolate glaze, and crunchy biscuit sticks now before adding any tape.
2Tape the motif
Cover the entire printed snack box net with wide clear packing tape, making sure to cover all the yellow and blue tabs too. Lay each strip across the red and brown artwork, smoothing it out from the center toward the edges so bubbles do not get trapped over the smiling Choco Sticks front. Do not pull or stretch the tape as you lay it down, or the paper will curl.
3Cut it out
Use your scissors to cut out the template right along the solid black outer line, keeping every yellow glue tab and blue tape tab attached to the main box net. Take your time around the angled corners of the small side tabs on the top and bottom flaps. Do not cut any of the dashed interior lines, as those will become the folded edges of your snack box.
4Pre-fold every tab
Line up your ruler along each dashed line and trace over it firmly with an empty pen to score the paper. Fold every single tab and vertical box line inward toward the white back side once, then unfold it flat again. Because the taped red and brown panels are stiff, pre-creasing the long side walls and small end flaps now makes building the tall rectangular box much easier later.
5Make the walls
Fold the main panels along the long vertical lines into a tall rectangular ring with the Choco Sticks artwork facing out. Put glue onto the long yellow side tab, press it to the inside of the opposite wall to hold the ring together, and line up the chocolate drips at the top. Immediately tape this long vertical seam from the outside with regular clear tape along its full length.
6Close the bottom
Find the bottom of the box—the dark brown panel with sprinkles and yellow tabs. Put glue onto those yellow bottom tabs, fold the bottom flap in, and press the tabs firmly against the inside of the walls so the rectangular base sits square. Leave the top red flap with the blue tabs open so you can fill the box through it.
7Tape the bottom
Because glue alone does not hold on the slick taped surface, reinforce the base right away. Take strips of regular clear tape and seal every bottom edge from the outside, running the tape all the way along the seams where the dark brown sprinkle base meets the front, back, and narrow side walls. Smooth the tape tightly along the bottom edges so no stuffing can poke out.
8Stuff it
Push small, loose scrunches of plastic grocery bag or fluffy fiberfill in through the open top of the box. Reach down to the bottom chocolate corners first, then work your way up behind the Choco Sticks lettering. Stuff the tall, slim box lightly so the wide front and back panels stay flat and square like a real carton of biscuit sticks instead of bulging out.
9Close it
Once the box feels nicely cushioned, fold the blue side tabs and the long blue front tab inward, then close the red top lid with the little chocolate squares and hearts over them. Hold the lid flush with the top chocolate drip edge and tape every top edge from the outside with regular clear tape, running the tape all along the front and both short side edges.
10Squish!
Your kawaii chocolate biscuit sticks paper squishy is done! Give the tall red box a gentle squeeze right across the smiling biscuit sticks and watch the sides puff back up into shape. If you want a slower, smoother rise when you press it, prick one tiny pinhole in an inconspicuous spot on the dark brown bottom panel.

Tips for the perfect squish
- Keep the tall walls crisp. This slim snack box has long vertical edges that give it a real carton look. Score every dashed line firmly with an empty pen and a ruler before folding so the narrow side panels stay sharp.
- A long side seam opens. Glue only holds the yellow tab in place while you work and won’t stick to tape for long. Put a fresh strip of clear tape from the outside along the entire vertical seam.
- The front panel bulges out. Because the biscuit box is slim, packing in too much filling makes the flat front and back round out. Take some stuffing out so the Choco Sticks front stays flat and box-shaped.
- Wrinkles over the dark chocolate. Air bubbles and creases show up quickly against the dark brown chocolate drips and red background. Use shorter strips of packing tape and lay them on from the middle without pulling.
Questions
Can I use only glue to assemble the chocolate sticks box?
No. Glue just holds the yellow tabs in place while you build the box and doesn’t stick to tape-covered paper for long. Every glued seam and the top lid need a strip of clear tape from the outside along the whole edge.
What paper works best for a chocolate sticks paper squishy?
Plain printer paper (80–100 gsm / 20–24 lb) is the best choice. Heavy cardstock becomes too hard to fold neatly once covered in packing tape and makes the slim snack box stiff.
What can I stuff my chocolate biscuit sticks squishy with?
You can use plastic grocery bags for a light, crinkly feel or fiberfill for a soft bounce. Push in loose scrunches and stuff lightly so the tall carton keeps its flat rectangular sides.
Can I make this snack box bigger or pair it with others?
Yes, you can print the page larger on a bigger sheet of paper—since all parts are one connected piece, the flaps will still fit together. You can also print a chocolate milk squishy at normal size to build a matching chocolate snack set.
Can I make these paper squishies with a class or group?
Yes! Print one sheet per person, cut the clear tape strips in advance, and plan about 45 minutes. Kids can color the biscuit sticks and Squish Facts on the coloring page while you help with scoring the lines and taping the seams.
