This strawberry milk paper squishy turns a sheet of paper into a 3D pink carton covered in creamy splashes, floating berries, and a smiling strawberry on the front. The back panel even has a playful Squish Facts label! You get a free printable PDF in both US Letter and A4 with 3 versions: full color, a black-and-white coloring page, and a blank net. Pair it with our banana milk squishy for a sweet drink collection.
What you need
How to make it, step by step
1Print the template
Print your strawberry milk carton on plain printer paper (80–100 gsm) at 100% scale, making sure “fit to page” is turned off. Check the scale bar in the top corner: it should measure 2 inches on US Letter or 50 mm on A4. If you picked the coloring page, color the berries, milk splashes, and heart details now before adding any tape.
2Tape the motif
Lay strips of wide clear packing tape across the entire printed strawberry milk design, including all the yellow glue tabs, the top roof fins, and the blue bottom tabs. Smooth each strip down from the center outward without stretching the tape so the glossy pink walls stay flat and free of air bubbles.
3Cut it out
Cut carefully along the solid black outer line all the way around the carton net. Take your time around the pointed gable peaks and the angled corners of the yellow and blue tabs so everything lines up cleanly later. Do not cut any of the dashed interior fold lines.
4Pre-fold every tab
Line up your ruler with each dashed line and run an empty pen along it to score the paper. Fold every single tab, wall corner, and roof line inward toward the white back side once, then unfold it again. Pre-creasing now makes the laminated carton much easier to assemble.
5Make the walls
Curl the main panels into a rectangular ring with the strawberry artwork facing outside. Put a dab of glue on the long yellow side tab and press it inside the opposite wall to hold the ring together, then secure that vertical corner seam from the outside with a strip of regular clear tape along its full length.
6Build the roof
Fold both sloped roof panels inward and glue their yellow tabs inside the triangular side gables to form the pitched milk carton top. Next, glue the two rectangular pink top fins flat against each other back to back and run a strip of tape right along the top ridge. Leave the bottom completely open.
7Tape the roof
Since craft glue only holds temporarily against slick packing tape, reinforce the whole gable top now. Apply strips of regular clear tape from the outside over every sloped roof edge and gable seam, running the tape all the way along each edge so no air or stuffing can push the roof apart.
8Stuff it
Flip the strawberry milk carton upside down and push small tufts of fiberfill or plastic bag pieces through the open bottom. Keep the stuffing light and stop filling right at the base of the roof so the side walls stay flat and the pitched gable top keeps its crisp angled shape.
9Close it
Tuck the three blue tabs inward over the stuffing and fold the heart-patterned bottom lid shut over them. Hold the base flat and seal every bottom edge from the outside with regular clear tape, covering the full length of every edge so the carton is completely closed.
10Squish!
Your finished strawberry milk carton measures about 1.8 × 3.6 in (4.6 × 9.2 cm) and is ready to squeeze! Give the belly of the carton a press and watch it bounce back into shape. If you prefer a slower rise, prick one tiny pinhole into the carton to let air escape gently.

Tips for the perfect squish
- Crooked gable roof lines. If the sloped roof triangles look uneven, score every dashed line with a ruler and an empty pen before folding. Sharp pre-creases help the pitched milk carton top snap right into alignment.
- Roof seams popping open. Glue does not stick permanently to laminated surfaces and only holds the yellow tabs while you work. Press a fresh strip of clear tape along the outside of the entire roof seam to lock it shut.
- Rounded carton walls. Overstuffing makes the flat strawberry panels puff out into a cylinder and hides the crisp carton corners. Pull a little filling out and keep the roof area empty so the box stays neat.
- Wrinkles over the strawberry face. Stretching wide packing tape as you lay it down causes ripples across the front artwork. Use shorter strips and smooth them from the middle outward without pulling.
Questions
How do you make a 3D milk carton paper squishy?
Print the template on regular printer paper, laminate the front with clear packing tape, cut along the solid line, and score all dashed lines. Fold the walls and gable roof together using glue to hold the yellow tabs, seal every seam from the outside with clear tape, then stuff lightly through the bottom before taping the lid closed.
Can I assemble the milk carton using only glue?
No, glue alone will not hold on tape-covered paper once you squeeze the carton. The glue is just there to tack the yellow tabs in place while your hands are busy, so every glued seam must be sealed from the outside with clear tape.
What paper works best for a milk paper squishy template?
Standard printer paper between 80 and 100 gsm (20–24 lb) gives the best squish. Heavy cardstock becomes too stiff once covered in packing tape and makes the small gable roof tabs difficult to fold cleanly.
What can I use to stuff my strawberry milk squishy?
You can fill it with soft toy fiberfill for a plush feel or plastic grocery bags for a light, crinkly texture. Whichever you choose, stuff the carton lightly and only up to the roof line so the sides stay flat.
Can I make a full set of drink squishies with a group?
Yes, plan about 45 minutes and pre-cut the tape strips so kids can color their cartons while you help with scoring and taping. You can also print our chocolate milk squishy so everyone can pick their favorite flavor.
